Moses Kirai Gitua AKA. Moses Gitua & Bay Colony , Is a Nairobi based House , Trance and Drum & Bass Dj/ Producer .

It was at the age of 14 (2010) that Moses was first introduced to Electronic music With Calvin Harris’ superb banger “I’m Not Alone‘ , Swedish House Mafia’s Worldwide hit “Miami 2 Ibiza” And Avicii’s Performance at BBC Radio one’s “Essential Mix.”

Moses didn’t begin to pursue his music career untill early 2014 . His career begun oddly because he started with Djing . He found the right programs & taught himself the art of djing . After a couple of months of practice and gathering tricks & intelligence , He released his first official show on mixcloud going by the name ” Release Yourself 001” in September 2014. It was a success. The feedback he got from his internet friends gave him the motivation of doing another show and so on . Over the years he’s been getting better and better .

In The summer of 2015 he participated in a worldwide djing competition on mixcloud called “Set For Peace” where he was ranked among the top 100 finalists . A year later he backed himself a residence at ” LionafriQ Radio” Where he plays his weekly shows Live: Where We Belong @8:00 PM EAT.

He started music production in mid 2015. with his first release going by the name “Joanna” Which was a collabolation with his close friend “Zes Ndirangu” .The song got a great feedback together with some really good constructive criticism. Over the last Couple of years , he has been improving immensly. He says that his mentors are Ashley Wallbridge & Gareth Emery because of their sensational style of Progressive House & Progressive Trance .

With over 100 sets online , 13 remixes , 2 EPs , 10+ sinlges And Alot more new music coming up , He can comfortably say that he sees a bright future in his music career.
